Dr. Miller pursued advanced fellowship training in sports medicine at the renowned Kerlan Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles, where he gained experience caring for professional athletes across major sports organizations. His expertise spans sports medicine, arthroscopic procedures of the shoulder, and elbow, as well as shoulder replacement surgery. He also has specialized training in reconstructive procedures for athletic shoulder and elbow injuries, including Tommy John surgery.
After earning his undergraduate degree from Tufts University and medical degree from George Washington University, Dr. Miller completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the Hospital for Joint Diseases Orthopaedic Institute at New York University. From 2008 to 2015, he served as an assistant team physician for the Washington Nationals. In addition, he has supported local athletes as a supervising physician for Wootton High School, Northwest High School, and The Heights, and currently holds this role at the Academy of the Holy Cross.
